Motherboard fault...

i sent my ps3 off for a engineers report, the report says that it is a Motherboard Fault, is this classed as a manufacturing fault? it surley must be.

Depends on what the fault is, but I am assuming you sent it off to Sony to get it checked, so there wont really be much arguing with them I am afraid. Probably dry solder as per the hundreds of other PS3's that have started giving up the ghost in the past 6 months. Plenty about it on the web.
its not the ylod,its a rare fault but have seen before, that aside the ylod is a motherboard fault and thats a manufacturing one. If its on the motherboard i dont think littlewoods can argue lol
