Already got her a personalised card for free thanks to HUKD!

Not sure what I am going to get her as a present, is difficult because we still have tons of chocolate from christmas, cant have flowers in the house because I am allergic and she doesnt like beauty products - Cds, DVDs or teddies usually - is really quite difficult to buy for

i dont like buying flowers, i like to get something that will last, maybe picture frames or albums, something along those lines, my mum can always find use for them with 9 kids 28 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren!!

How about a montage of photos of your brothers and sisters (if you have loads that is!)
also your own kids included too...

Umm.....or a M&S gift voucher? lol

great idea birdy but the montage has been done before, tho i guess would need updating due to the new additions since the last one, would mean seeing everyone to take pics!

How about a photo session at somewhere like Venture?

A really lovely personal gift - spotted their stand in my local Morrisons the other day with a special offer on - can't remember the details, but very good value compared to their usual (v expensive) prices.

Or you can get a "Memories Pack" from Boots for £40 which pays for the session & one 8x10 framed pic.

They are expensive if you want to buy more, but most definatley worth the cash for their offers. The photographers are very friendly and put you at ease, and the pictures are excellent quality and not your "normal" portrait photo at all.

Poss a bit out of some budgets, but worth it if you can stretch that far!

Hope it helps someone!

How about a photo mosaic? There is software available which collects all your digital pictures and turns it into one pic. HERE

Its a good effect! Get an A4 printout, frame it and hey presto!

lovely idea for the smaller family, unfortunately we all never get together at once, its always planned when someone has something else to do, the last time we all had a pic together was when one of my brothers had is 'passing out parade' in the army, i was 9!!! im now 30, i think the only other time weve all been together was at our dads funeral :(

we tried a meal together, just the 9 of us and mum a few months back but my eldest brother didt make it :-( its a shame

Ah well - worth a try. ;-)

It is a shame when families can't get together!

My Dad's in Spain, I'm in Somerset, my brother is in the Welsh Valleys! Include my OH's lot and they're all in and around Glasgow! We've been together 4 years and his lot's not met my lot yet! :?

even harder then if your all spread out, we all live quite close but just cant seem to get it together, one of my brothers lives about 2 miles away and i havent seen him in yonks, yet i bumped into him in tesco sunday!! madness!!
