  Hopefully my teenage children will take the time to reflect on my bringing them into the world and how I have raised and nurtured them in a selfless manner. Perhaps they may purchase a card that reflects these sentiments and accompany it with a small home made gift constructed carefully with thoughts of love and appreciation.
  
  My son might paint a giant rainbow in my bedroom so I may wake up to it. He may put breadcrumbs on my window ledge and entice a flock of white doves to COO prettily for my delight. My daughter will tie a pink bow on my beautiful cat and she may borrow a harp and sit next to my bed, as the cat snuggles up to me and my daughter plucks a beautiful melody.
  
  A peaceful, happy day will pass, my children will adorn the telegraph pole outside my house with ribbons with which they will skip around like a May pole. My ears will be filled with their sweet laughter and joyful cries of "mummy, we love you".
  
  The sun will shine all day and there will be the warm aroma of heartshaped cookies with the word Mum iced on them that my two wonderful darlings have baked for me.
  
  
  Or they might just loaf around, squabbling over the tv whilst I nag them.

  well seeing as hubby forgot my birthday and valentines day, it'll mean me spending the day racing around, preventing the kids from arguing and visiting both his mum and my mum. I'll probably cook a meal for my mum too.

  My girls are a bit too young to know what it's all about, but expect my husband will bring me breakfast in bed, my son will buy me a little something, my mum is no longer with us, so unless my "adopted" mum chesso trusts me with her address I can't send anyone anything
