Indestructable moth here. Numerous deodrant cans sprays, threw a tennis ball at it which subsequently broke my blinds, hit it with a tightly screwed up t-shirt - Twice ! I lost it went to sleep and it flew on my face. About 1/2 inch long, with huge legs, soon as I go near it, goes mad around the room. Need a new weapon, any ideas ?

hands or the hoover

Turn all the gas hobs on and stick a rolled up paper in your toaster. The time it takes for the paper to ignite, should give you enough time to flee the area.

The only way to be sure

hands or the hoover

Not touching it, disgusting ugly, huge moth, don't want it flying in my face again. Can't use the hoover because people are asleep, dying in here, allergic to the deodrant I kept spraying at it :x So far moth has

Broken my Blinds
Given me an allergic reaction (sort of)
Creased my T-Shirt

Hopefully it's allergic to deodrant to and does one

i always have a can of insect killer in my cupboard e.g. Raid - good for flies in the summer. it works anyway.

or just catch it and put it outside

deodorant can + lighter .... watch out for any flammable surfaces !

My answer would have been a tissue to grab/crush it.

The other night, some *swear word* spider fell off the roof and hit my head... Long story short, I flushed him out and beat him with my shoe then chucked him in the toilet.

Little git... Was easily about an inch long.

I ****ing hate moths, I have an absolute phobia of them. Other flying insects just irritate and annoy me but moths just do me in. The hoover option is probably the easiest idea as long as you have one with a long pipe rather than the floor standing ones. Besides that, it's not really an exact science lol... I've got one of those electrified swatters which does the trick on something that's not moving but it's really shabbily built and will just fall about if I wave it around with any particular force!

Update : It decided to return today, and fly in my face once again. Waited for it to stop, ran down stairs got the stain remover sprayed it missed then ended up dousing about everything in the room whilst it went mad flying everywhere, eventually 5 minutes later it stopped, so I drowned it with the stain remover, and squashed it with a plastic pizza holder thing. :-D

Choking on the bleach stuff now. Think the moth won in the end. Broke my blinds, creased my t-shirts and made my room stink of bleach, as well as wasting about half an hour of my life, me trying to kill it

Lol, next time you're at the supermarket you should buy some Raid, it 'kills bugs dead' ... the most ridiculous slogan ever!

The tennis ball was just doing it's job. Since been fired for inability.
The moth was put to death for public nuisance.

Got a duvet cover for blinds now, should have let the stupid thing suffer
