just leave a light on. It'll spend ages flying around and into it.

Won't do any harm unless its huge....
They die overnight if they are trapped in...the ones in mine always do, haven't a clue what they eat but its not babies

stick a light on and it will chase it

Butterflies and most moths (some moths don't eat as adults) - feed through a tube-like tongue called a proboscis so their food must be liquid. Many feed on nectar from various flowers while others feed on a variety of moist rotting matter including, fruit, sap, animals, and animal droppings. Some butterflies will also visit mud puddle to sip nutrients from soil

Depends on what kind of moth. Many have no mouth and do not eat at all as adults. Some eat fiber and some nectar

Some moths dont eat in their adult form. The ones that do normally eat nectar and the juices in rotting fruit (which often gets them drunk!)

Moths eat cloths, carpets, paper and they breed in the carpet so kill it now before you find holes in your cloths ....

Just what I always wanted. My own little moth. I will name him Timmy, and I will hug him and pet him and squeeze him...

...rub him and pet him and squeeze him and rub him I will stroke his head and rub his pretty wings...

We had an infestation at work and all our files had to sprayed by the rental kill people ... all the paper was feeding them and the carpet was full of their eggs. we would walk into the office put the light on and they fly up in a swarm. Nasty clumsy insects and they started to get into our hand bags and the girls started to complain about it spreading to their homes.

so be very careful with this moth and get rid of it... pronto

Y'know I'd never bothered,/thought about, or otherwise considered, moths until this thread. How did I manage to bring up three children where there could've been.......................................moths in their rooms?????
Personally I'd catch it and take it outside, but then I don't think I've ever had a moth infestation - does sound nasty.
Good luck :)

Excellent!!

Very, very gently scoop it up in your hands and place it outside through a window that you have had the foresight to open before hand. Your karma will gain and you will feel good.
