Hi Guys
I have googled this query but I really want advice on a good website that allows me to d/l my sisters .mpg video files of her family & kids.

They are straight from her camcorder, and are usually 5MB-200MB clips in various sized files. I basically want to set up an account where we both have the same username and password.

She does not know how to convert mpg to DVD but I do and it saves posting from Australia on a regular basis and once converted I pass on to my Mum.

Anyone know or use a good file sharing website that you can recommend that does this type of file sharing.

Thanks!

Well you can sign up to Adrive.com and its basic package is free which gives you 50gb of storage. When you upload anything and select the share option it generates a link that you can then email to somebody, then all they do is click the link to download.

Or you could look in to the 'unite' feature in the opera browser. I only had a quick play with it as its pretty new, but you essentially add friends to your system and allocate a folder then just drop in your media. It generates a 4 digit pin you tell the other person so they can access the folder. As I said only had a quick play and set up a couple of accounts to test the sharing option and it works. Rather than uploading to a third party you just share between you.
