Why Don't NHS bosses start hiring obsessive compulsives as nurses? Their
attention to hygiene and constant hand washing would see an end to MRSA outbreaks in no time

Might not be funny to some, especially sufferers, but the OP does have a point in a roundabout sort of way.

Although most MRSA is brought into hospital by scabby visitors:whistling:

Scabby nurses IMO.

They wear their uniform all over the place, even on there dinner breaks ya see them scurrying about. Dirty buggars most of them.

Hand hygeine is still terrible even on the childrens cancer wards. Makes ya soo angry.

Incompetent at best.

My cleaner who comes in twice a week has OCD, she is the best cleaner I have ever had, completely obsessed with scrubbing away any signs of dirt. She does an amazing job.

One of the issues with a hospital environment is the flaming filthy visitors, not adhering to protocol and washing their hands regularly before entering the ward.
Although I do know of a consultant, whose ward was afflicted with MRSA, he was convinced it wasnt him as he religiously washed his hands, and his coat, eventually the source of the infection was found, his tie!!!!, now the ward has a no tie rule.
