15) What is the common link between The Dave Clark 5, Fat Larry`s Band and Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes?

DC5 had hits with 'Glad all over' and 'Bits and Pieces'
Fat Larry's Band had a hit with 'Zoom'
Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes had hits with 'If you don't know me by now' and 'Don't leave me this way'

This is what I know, but what is the connection.....................mmm................I don't know why but I have an inkling that it might be to do with drummers!!
Wasn't Dave Clark a drummer in the band, maybe Fat Larry and Harold Melvin were drummers............or maybe I'm clutching at straws!!

Fat Larry was the drummer, as was Dave Clark but I'm pretty sure that Harold Melvin wasn't- I think their drummer was Teddy Pendergast (oops starting to sound like a nerd) BUT, I think Teddy Pendergast was the lead singer and not Harold Melvin - so maybe the answer is they all had lead singers who were drummers!
