Here is a list of the tours available, these are the ones I used when I was there....

http://www.citysightsny.com/

also get a discount ticket from the ticket office in Time Square for a Broadway show....I went to see Chicago on or near 42nd Street and it only cost me $20. :)

Like others have said, the Empire State Building,....amazing to say the least....

Also the Ellis Island Ferry that goes right past the Statue of Liberty, they used to stop there but as I was there around the time of the attacks they had closed it off, dont know if its reopened though.

Best thing is to get the tickets for the double decker buses for tourists that constantly go around Manhatten, its a great way of sightseeing and getting around the place :)

Hope you enjoy it! :)

Theres also Grand Central Station, NBC studios and the list goes on and on..lol oh and Central Park!!! Thats a must..

We went for our honey-moon in '06 & we were bough a chopper ride over the hudson river & a speed boat ride down the river (both to the statue) as gifts - they were great things to do although expensive (I think). We said that we would do the speedboat thing when we go again but the chopper is a one off we thought - great but too expensive to do again.

Have fun!

Oh yeah I deffo reccomend it - I think we were up about 40 mins. It was a great thing to do & to film & really made our honeymoon DVD that extra bit special. I'd love to go to Dubai but maybe in a few years without the babies!
As it was a gift, I'm not sure exactly what it cost but it was a fab thing to do & I reccoment it to anyone,
Do try & do the speed boat thing - we went on 'The Beast' (I think!!) ans that was great fun plus you got to see the S.O.L really close up.

Yeah in a few years Dubai will be buzzing, the rate of building is crazy and the amount of money out there will blow you mind. I went to a shopping center and saw a Porsche carerra GT and wait for it.. Bugatti veyron :O i was like oh haha

But yeah totally amazing :D

I said to my mum im going to go back in 5 years to see how much it has changed. Oh btw we stayed at the Hitlon hotel its the business one they have and it was a hell of a lot more quiete day and night which was good becuase we had the roof top pool to our selves and you could see the view of dubai. Although there were sand storms we could still see a little bit.

But yeah worth a trip :P

Went to New York in February - very very very cold!

Lovely place though, all the tourust bits mentioned were great - but not cheap...

We ate in Dalls BBQ a couple of times, very cheap food and not bad either, mrs loved the iced cocktails  Drinking anywhere in NY wasn't cheap. Virgils BBQ joint was even better but more expensive, the ribs and chicken combo is huge so save space, plus they actually didnt a decent ale!!!

Southern Manhattan was my favourite took the ferry to statue of liberty and back to battery park then walked back up to Times Square stopping off at Wall Street, Ground Zero, City Hall and best of all China Town - really worth the effort!

Oh I forgot to mention - If you like Sushi you must try and eat at 'Ruby Foo's' which is just up past Time Square - the best sushi we have ever had!
