ahh my little baby girl (now two and a month) has just gone to nanny and grandads, with her grandma in KNICKERS, no nappy. my little baby is growing up.

i know she'll do really well, and im sure she's ready. but where did the time go. one minute she was in my arms, next she started to crawl, then walk, then stopped breast feeding, starting sleeping through night and now we are here........... big girl pants!!!!

it all happens so fast :(

Well done you - 2 years and 1 month is really good going and well done to your little girl

My little girl has just turned 2 and is only just starting to wee on the potty, with plenty of prompting

My little baby boy is also growing up too fast. He's nearly 5 months and having a bottle of expressed at the mo - it's going way too fast, he's even holding onto the bottle himself - won't need me at all soon!

its awful isnt it. on one hand your really proud of them but on the other u miss them needing you.

it was awful when we weaned tabatha on to solids at 6months, i cried cos till then she'd only ever had me, cept two times she had a little expressed so that her dad could try (she didint like it thankfully he he)

im very proud of her, she's amazingly advanced for her age (not with the potty neccasarily as that varies significantly with child to child) but with other things, like asking why and counts to ten, draws people with bodies and eveything, names all her body parts etc. but sometime look at my firneds kids and wish she was still like them, and acted more like a baby than a three year old, she is only just two afterall. :(

That's great going. Means she's feeling relaxed about the whole toilet thing. Good parenting.

It all flies by far too quickly

To make you feel better - my 'baby' left school this year and now goes to college, it's so strange not having to sort out a uniform etc. I've had one of them in school since 1990 so weird no christmas disco, fundraising, school bus etc after 18 years !!!! :w00t:

we tried not tell tell her off for toilet on the floor. we did tell her off a few times i must confess, but that was when she stood next to potty and wee'd on floor, or got of the potty and wee'd but she's been amazing last few weeks indoors. only problem is she has to get completely naked to go toilet, and she has to do that half hour beofre she actually goes. but maybe she'll be better if we are out and about. she did ask to go a few times when we been out but i take her nappy off and put her on toilet and she'd get scared she would fall down so i invested in a me 13pounds but potette plus. cost bout 13pound altogether but if it helps her then its worth it. cant carry a huge potty around with me all time. specially if im gonna have all babies stuff etc with me soon.

My hubby just read this thread and his comment was - 'be grateful she leaves the house wearing knickers and long may it continue!' He has threatened to lock our girl in the attack when she reaches 16!!

My 2 and a half year old is ok for weeing in toilet, but number 2 she does only in knicker. When I picked her from nursery today, she said 'Mummy!! Heather cried today cos I poo in knickers, hee hee hee'. Heather is her key worker in nursery. I really don't know what to do. :?
