I am now stuck with which case to choose? They all look so good.

Case 1:
Case 2:
Case 3:

Which one would be the most ideal, a pc mate of mine said 2, but I need more opinions lol.

Would this be a good setup 2 x Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache for raid 0 or just 1 x samsung f3 1TB 32 mb cache or finally just save up money and on a later date get a ssd drive?
Surprised you're not putting a Blu Ray drive in it :p
Case 5

Low on cash, why would it be a necessity in this rig?

purley on looks
Element V as it has the looks!
Looks to be a good build, although I too am not sure about the case. That side fan is going to be a dust blower, also their is the noise element.

Personally I think if your not going for a case with a window you should be going for a case with good sound deadening. The best case I can see at the moment for around this price with great sound deadening and airflow would be the Fractal Design Define R2, although you would have to purchase additional fans for it I believe.

There are many other cases though around that price which are tried and tested from manufacturers such as Lian Li and Antec. There is also some very good Coolermaster cases. Although if you going for this on looks and this Thermaltake one appeals to you, then.. I guess you could get it, after all it will be you who will have to look at it and not us ;-)
I'd also have to recommend the Fractal Design Define R2, it's a quality case. Understated, but still looks very nice. Quiet, but with space for about 7 fans. I've bought one as a base for my next mod :)
I'd spend less on the mobo, the case, the PSU and the RAM, and more on the graphics card. You'll not suffer a noticable FPS drop with a £150 mobo or lower-clocked RAM (google for real-world benchmarks, performance difference is usually negligible), but you will gain around 20-25% with a 5870 in there, which for £70 extra, is well worth it. 6% more money overall for 20% better performance, so the economy's on your side.

The case by the way, I don't see any point spending more than £20 on one. Cases are large, ugly, noisy and cumbersome things, so I keep mine as far away from my work area as possible. My main desktop PC lives in my eaves, and is connected to my desk with various USB extension cables and a couple of long DVI leads. It's good or my ears and it's good for the PC too, since my eaves are a couple of celsius cooler than my room, and the physical divide keeps the harddisk safe from the vibrations of my music. Plus, I can have the fans turned way higher than normal without causing me any bother, so I can overclock more too. It'd cost you another tenner for a USB DVDRW drive and more squiddies still for longer cables, but it works out well if your living space setup allows for it, and if you aren't constantly messing with your system or moving it around.
