How long ago was it installed?

Could be a low back up battery, our bell tends to start ringing itself when the battery is low, at 5am in the morning
Is it hard-wired into the mains? If so, it might be that the fuse has gone and it's been running of the battery back-up (which might now be nearly flat).

Have you had any power cuts recently? That might be the cause of the blown fuse.
It's time to quite smoking!!
we had a new battery bout 5 mths ago, dont know if we had a power cut i was alseep at the tie
do you not have the manual that came with it, it should tell you in there why it is doing it, mine tells me what all the different bleeps and sirens are for, also the different lights flashing on main board
My neighbours was the same, called the service guy in and found it was a faulty sensor in one of the rooms. Cost him £70. Two days later another sensor went in another room. Cost him another £70. :x
Faulty PIR?

I had a similar problem about two years ago. I managed to narrow the fault down to a PIR.
Check what zone triggers the alarm then work from there.
Possible causes,
1) damp as penetrated your outside alarm box
2) as mentioned battery needs replacing, doubtfull as it isnt going off constantly it has breaks in between
3) and this is the most likely and common one, a spider or other insect has made its new home in your control panel, every time it walks about its body bridges circuits and sets off the "panic alarm" function that most alarms have. From when we had this problem the engineer told us spiders are responsible for 80% of random alarm faults where the alarm goes off on its own, they also get into the pir sensors and set alarms off that way once the alarm is set.

If its out of warranty i would cut the power and remove the control panel cover to investigate for any spiders.
are you being robbed?
it says zone 7.

A friends neigbour sorted it he works fro an alarm company gonna have 2 give him a ring
the alarm was already in the house when we moved in.
then i would imagine the pir in zone 7 needs sorting, although mine never set off the siren for something like this, only lights up the main board
i think if someone was in the house the dog would find them and i have no idea where zone 7 is.
Just open and close all windows that are alarmed to see if it re sets itself. Or maybe cable damaged by rodent or something.
you have a ghost
it says zone 7.

Probably a spider or other insect in the PIR then:thumbsup:
could just be the cover is loose on zone 7 pir which is triggering the tamper switch(which will set alarm off even when not set)
..... or something like a mobile (decoration not phone) that has been put up recently.
I think its the heat, same thing happened to my mum, if you are here (south) you will know what I mean!!! Plays up the sensor
