i went tesco express earlier to get some lunch bought a sandwich, and two fridj milkshakes, only wanted one but they were bogof. it came to £3 odd something. i was in a rush so didnt think much of the price. realised afterwards that they hadnt given me the bogof offer. when i went back for a refund they led me back to the drinks section and the bogof label had been removed. when i said that somebody must have removed it, who would have taken it down, i was told "nobody removes the labels" and told to get out basically. its not the money that bothers me just their attitude towards me. is it worth a complaint ?

/boring rant

Get out in the fresh air and have some fun :D

they do remove the labels-probably someone else claimed the offer after having been mischarged and then they remove the label so noone else can get it-they actually instruct staff to do this in these cases so dont know how they can claim that nobody removes labels-they do it all the time!

You're saying supermarket staff remove offers from the shop floor?

If it was in offer the till would have taken it off
Fridj is vile, why would you want 2, let alone 1

£3 is still good for a sarnie and 2 milshakes. Surely sarnies are normally around the £2 mark anyway? £1 for 2 milkshakes sounds OK, Fridj are normally around that price each.

no-what Im saying is the offer expires,(frijj was on bogof),someone forgets to take the old label away, customer is overcharged, complains, gets double the difference and they then remove that label so it doesnt happen again.Obviously this has happened between OP realising and returning to the shop.

was about £3.70 i think. the sandwiches are £1.35 and the fridj milkshakes were just over £1 ea. i got change from £2.50 with two doughnuts (inb4 fat), a drink and a sandwich today, so it makes for an awesome cheap lunch.
