I know i feel so mean as i have to literally force her mouth open and poke these tablets down her throat. Little thing hates me but it has to be done. I just hope she is ok, apparently it is a v bad thing for a cat to have !?

Sorry to hear that. The most important thing is to make sure she eats cos when cats get flu they usually don't eat and it makes them even worse. Give her loads of her tasty wet food to help her get fluids. Good luck!

She is from a stable but is the only one with flu, a few of my friends have the other kittens and i have warned them but only 1 has been to the vet so far. The others apparently are ok?

my old cat had cat flu when he was about 5 months old we only just got him and had a 12 week old kitten I was terrified that the little one was gonna get it. Vet took the cat in overnight as he was dehydrated and he recovered in a few days. The little one never did get it.

if you make a strong tea (no milk) let it cool and get some cotton wool. Make sure you use a seperate piece of cotton wool for each eye but bathe the cats eyes in the solution. It works i have used it on my older cat, it has always worked for me:)

Try crushing the tablets and mixing it with Tuna. It's supposed to take away the smell/taste of the tablet and my cats fall for it all time. So much easier than letting em get stressed out when you try to force em to swallow a tablet.

failing that, mix with a few prawns.
