As above. It has been rubbish for a while but now the ghost has well and truly been given up. I have been hanging around for a good deal but not I have to buy but obviously still want a good buy. What's the best deal out their for the moment? Mostly used for Internet, sometimes streaming. Budget 300 really would be ideal. Any ideas??

Apart from the fact that it is very old with only 512mb of ram attempting to run vista!!! Not sure what's wrong with it just won't boot but I don't have any recovery disks. Also even if it could be fixed no sure it's worth fixing!!

Are you specifically looking for another laptop?

Yes I think so. As you can imagine a laptop of this age isn't blessed with beauty and grace so would like to take this opportunity to get something nice

Yeah sassie and I tend to only buy new things when the old is unusable. Only replaced my 15 year old CRT last year when it blew up!!!

Not sure they will take mine as trade as won't boot. Hopefully a new great deal will pop up!
