I've got a Toshiba Regza C series TV (out of warranty) and lately i have not been able to view ITV 1 and various other channels including sky sports news. I'm getting pixelated picture and distorted sound, Then get an on screen message saying "No signal"
But BBC channels are fine.
I brought down another LCD set i have upstairs and it plays all the channels no problem.
I live in a block with a communal aerial, But i don't think that is the cause, as i've stated my other TV works fine.
Any suggestions.

Hi,
Just fixed my freeview tuner by doing a channel search WITHOUT the ariel plugged in,then doing another one with it plugged in.
Brought back 10 missing channels for me,might be worth a try.

Maybe try getting a signal booster.

Check your ariel hasn't been blown out of adjustment by the recent wind.

Some tuners are more sensitive than others.

If the ariel is good, the signal works on another tv then buy a cheap freeview box for about £15

Thanks, i'll try that
And i might get myself a signal booster also.
I don't think it's the outside aerial as my other tv sets are working fine.

Poor quality or poorly fitted coax plugs at the end of the aerial lead have also given my freeview tuners grief.

some tvs with freeview built in try and automatically update themselves, this sometimes goes a bit wrong and you lose channels, so you have to retune, if you can turn off automatic updates.
