+1 you cant go wrong with sausage and mash!

Chicken Roast isn't bad for dieters! Just keep away from too many yorkies, and have more veg other than potatoes and roasted ones in fat!

not had them in like 10 year my god they were good with mash n beans

i used to make a volcano with the mash n beans then it errupted and killed all the dinosaurs then i ate it, it made tea time awfully dramatic

Salmon, baked potato and salad, thats what I had last night.

Lasagna on a diet can't be too good (if done the normal way)

Chicken with a little Philadelphia inside, wrap a rasher of lean bacon around it. With some flavoured rice.

Have you tried Butternut Squash? You can cut these into thick chips, spray with fry light and roast - Yummy, Beans are not fattening, and egg doesn't have to be either! It's got protein, as long as you don't add alot of fat - or have too many a week.

You can get Very low fat sausages - that are 1 Weightwatcher point each!

Chicken Shish Kebab is a very low fat meal.... tell her to top it with lots of veg too - Its very very satisfying, you can make it at home easily - or get a takeaway - and you could add chips to your own if you are not watching your weight

butternut squash risotto

roast quartered squash with olive oil, chili flakes and ground cinnamon stick add to risotto.

Perhaps we could have HUKD ready steady cook.

You tell us what you have in the cupboard and it's the forums job to come up with a recipe.

I have a nice vegetable stew recipe (well I find it yummy) I'll PM it to you when I find it! It's relly low in fat and I think very tasty.

get some couscous, bit different and you can eat loads of it.
grill some marinated chicken, and stick it on top with some crispy pitta breads.
or
get some of the mexican stuff like tacos/ wraps etc. stick lots of veg on it and not much cheese - and drain all the fat off the meat.

yes she does when im not at uni....whats the point me making double the mess and using twice the cost (power) to make my own meals when she might as well make extra of whatever she is making.....:?

apparently she has looked at the fat content on the mexican things and they are very fattening???? Think I might just go walk round asda with her, the cous cous/chicken thing sounds nice though

How about a stir fry with noodles?

Or, cook some chicken breasts and slice them up, then serve them in a pitta bread packed full of salad with some salsa on top.
