She's 18 months old, and my sister said her exzema is really bad

I've just checked and she's no dot to dot page - the chicken pox have joined in a huge rash near her nappy area, and I've seen the dots appearing near her neck.

I feel itchy now - imagine how she feels - that on top of her exzema.

Pass the calomine lotion please!

Apparently bathing in bicarbonate of soda really helps chicken pox dry up, also Piriton helps as it's an antihistamine.
Hope she gets better soon

Her exzema did flare up before the spots started appearing too, but she has exzema permanently anyway - she just has weeks where it is far worse.

Did the Dr give any special medication at all for your son? My niece screamed when I put the calomine lotion on - but she's calmed down now!

Aah good point - I'd forgotten that - thanks for the reminder - I'll get some for my sister to bath her in tonight.

She might need to be seen at GP,when my 2 got chicken pox,I didn't bother taking the eldest but when she got 3 wks or so later, cos of excema realy bad,I called up the surgery and they said you better come in to get her checked out,she had it way worse than him too, maybe that was why I asked to come in as I said she was really covered compared to the other 1.
Otherwise I wouldn't bother taking a child to GP for this kind of thing and treat at home.
