With my wedding just few months away i decided that new yr i was seriously going to concentrate on getting fit again and loose weight. Not just for the wedding but because I dont want to get old with bad health etc.
I will be updating this thread with my food and drink intake and my exercise for each day.
I hope you guys can keep help with suggestions etc.
I am very serious about doing this and would love to walk down the isle feeling good about myself.
I am doing this with my sister and my best woman ( yes i have a best woman whos giving me away!) so we can support one another.

I will be watching this thread with added interest as I am too getting married this year!

What date is yours, mine is July 2nd

I need to loose a few pounds and do some excerises around my tummy/bum area and the top of my arms!

good luck:thumbsup: i lost 2 stone for my wedding but had the help of slimming world. but it felt good looking slim and gorgeous on the big day:-D

me joining a gym now way! I will make full use of my wii fit until i am confident enough to go running outside again! To think i used to go running every other day, how easy it is to slip by the way side!

Hate the phrase diet......too many yo-yo diets around !!!
think life changes are a far better way to go unless of course ou don't mind pilling all the weight back on after the wedding?
less sugar, less saturated fat
more fruit ,veg, nuts and at least 2 litres of water per day(and no you can't substitute the water for coffee,tea,coke,or any other liquid based drink)
Its really import for the body to break down the intake of foods that we do have on a daily basis.

deffo, i used to be very healthy and fit as my OH runs London Marathons so had to eat healthy! I blame him, he didnt do last yrs so we both slipped. hahah

I know what you mean, I went to aerobics twice a week and considered myself very fit and toned but moved area and had 2 children and now need a kick up the backside!

The wii fit sounds good, not got one but went on my brothers over christmas and it said my fitness age was 51!! (I then threw it out of the window)

Yeah with xmas i concentrated on that but now its over its a bit of * OMG* im all done except my dress which im not getting till closer the date. Its black and white theme wedding so all else fails i could wear a black bin bag! hahahah hahahah
plus were trying to learn the evolution of dance, so we can shock people on the * first dance* thing lol

I tried losing weight for my wedding, I really wanted to lose at least 4 stone but only managed to lose 2 - regardless, I felt and looked like a princess in the pictures. Don't get hung up on your weight and let it spoil your day!

Turn your fears into your strengths.

If you hate needing to lose weight, look in mirrors constantly to give you determination to keep going losing weight.

Soon enough you'll really like looking into that mirror to check out your shape :)

Had meal booked today for the family but i was careful.
Todays intake...

Breaded Garlic Mushrooms ( not fried but baked in oven) I checked with them first! LOL
Then had beef dinner.. ( didnt eat much as the gravy had the most awful flour taste) dissapointing really.

Pea & Ham Soup

Hot milky coffee
One normal coffee
Diet Coke

Exercise -- 10 mins boxing and 20 mins tennis

Just done my online food shopping of lots of healthy stuff as ive not got much here tbh.

Glass of soluable vit c ( still not well)
Went for hour walk
One apple..

Im just about to have a milky coffee and boiled egg as I am really hungry now.

Sounds good so far, hope you enjoyed the walk (and hope you feel better soon

We went out yesterday for a walk, about 2 hours, OH pushed the double buggy all the way!!

Done lots of cleaning excercise today as had a disaster with a lamb bone and a saucepan last night - burnt dry and filled kitchen with putrid smoke

ohhhh dear, i often wake in the night thinking mad things like, omg did i turn the oven off, when i know i have but i just HAVE to get up to check!

walking is fab , as long as its not up hill! hahah

Ive had porriage for brekkie, and about to have a tin of veg curry over some potato.. ( still waiting for asda to deliver my shopping! im on dregs!! ) lol

Ive just bought a treadmill and a rowing machine! picking it up tomorrow! yeahhhhhhh

had casserole for evening meal..

had 2 glasses of diet lemonade, one coffee and glass of mulled wine.
( clear my chest up apparently!)

Lunch :- Home made leek and potato soup 2x bread
Evening Meal :- Slimming world sin free quiche
Snack :- one apple

3 cups of tea

10 mins on treadmill

Evening meal tonight i am making slimming world burgers with salad.
I am planning on drinking more water as ive not been having any.

Going to do 1Hr exercise tonight now my treadmill and rower is up in livingroom!

Skipped brekkie ( didnt get up lol)
so had Bran Flakes with sliced banana ontop for lunch.
Evening meal I have just had Chicken Casserole.

Im off out to a meeting shortly but will do some treadmill this evening and eat fruit if i get peckish.

My sister has lost half a stone already! in about a week!

Sounds like it's going really well

I'm stuck in the house as the drive, which is up a slope, is frozen and I can't get out in the car and daren't attempt it with the pushchair

I've ate so much carp today!!

aww no mind you its been really cold last few nights. Ive been eating slowly like Paul McKenna said to do... tasteeeee your food! Im so hank marvin now , think i might have some porrige which i lurve!!

Just managed to order a bridesmaid dress from Next sale (ordered it in 2 sizes) and 2 pairs of shoes

I did have a VIP slot but by the time it was my turn they'd sold out, I've since been looking on a daily basis hoping that some would go back into stock

awww no thats annoying.
BHS got sale on bridesmaid dresses as well. Some lovely ones but have to be lucky in colours. Feel quite good this morning, my neighbour just noticed ive lost weight! what a boost!

Its from Ebayshop, i bought bridesmaid dresses from there as well. Used them before for an evening dress few yrs ago and it was lovely.

Todays menu was

Slimming world quiche slice for brekkie and dinner ( one slice each )
Main meal i did Pork cooked dinner
Banana
One snack a jack

One options drink, 2 glasses of milk, 2 glasses of water

Im also doing the paul mckenna thing.

Really struggling today, i feel totally pooo after some news a dear friend was rushed into hospital lastnight. Talk about emotion comfort eating, i wanted to turn to food straight away!
Anyway i didnt,,
Ive had branflakes for brekkie
Slice of Slimming world quiche for lunch.
One milky coffee

Done 5 mins on treadmill, will do alot more this evening.
Dont know what to have for evening meal. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh

Ended up making home made sheps pie.
then done 10 mins on treadmill.

Chicken slices for lunch ( heathy option 200 calories)
with Ham roll

Grilled pork cooked for evening meal.

Low Cal squash, and 2 cups of coffee

I felt ive eaten too much today, so im not happy! plus ive got swollen glands and sore throat! grrr

did 10 mins on treadmill and will do another 10mins or more later.
