need some advice please guys.
my OH did a direct BT from his natwest acount to mine, in branch on saturday.money wasnt showing up yesturday so spoke to bank who said who be there this morning,checked and it wasnt. have since been back onto bank to be told the cashier had put that particular branch's sort code instead of mine! so the moneys been floating around.
im waiting for them to call me back but want to know if im entitled to anything as due to there error ive know been charged OD fees because rent went out yesturday :(

I would definitely be asking them to reimburse any expense you incurred. It wasn't your fault so why should you be penalised. Hope it works out for you.

+1 Agreed, they should refund any losses that you have incurred.

now been told that its going to take afew days to get back!! have told them i want it today, so again im waiting for a call back. am i entitled to my fees bac then??

yes of course you are, it is their error, and they should put this money in immediately, but if they can brush you off they will, they tried with me over a dd, i went in there and they where all nicey nice and the money was back in that day, it makes more paperwork for them, thats why they try to brush you off, as it is basically their money they are giving you till they sort it thats why they try not to, but there mistake so they should sort it

thanks guys! told them i want calling back by 1pm.id go into the branch in question, but unfortunatly it was in wrexham and im in york lol
