Do they snipe down ebayers or something? :-D

I can only guess its one of those programs that bids for you at the last second?

i have used others that failed but justsnipe hasnt and i didnt need to download anything either. Just joined!

http://www.jbidwatcher.com/ works well if you have a pc on 27/7 or on when it needs to snipe and its freeware

I think the programmes take the fun out of it. I can get my refresh and bid in,in about 9 seconds to go. Possibly good for when you are not present at the end of an auction,but that being the case,just bid as much as you are willing to pay,that way you won't get in to a bidding war and if you win you win.

they are brilliant if you are buying something which is an item that a seller has a lot of-you snipe at the price you want to pay-ie very cheap- for each one a seller is selling and leave it. I have had so many silly bargains that way as at certain times or days things are cheaper.

I love the frantic last few seconds I have the listing open in two tabs one watching it to refresh and check the time the other with my bid entered and on the page where you commit to buy so as when it gets down to 5 seconds i swap tabs and hit commit to buy.
