Need a short holiday for End of July. Any ideas?

I am looking to go away on 22 July (Need afternoon flight) till Sunday 26th July and really struggling.

We're not really bothered where we go, was originally planning to go to Newquay but all the places tried are booked up.

Was wondering if anyone has ideas where the best place online is to look. Have found Easyjet holidays offer the best value for money but don't know what they wuld be like.

Whether its Newquay, Amsterdam, Spain etc. I'm not too bothered really just need to get away for a few days to somewhere decent. Cheap and decent is the objective though.

If anyones just booked a good deal for these dates would really appreciate the site where you found them. Didn't realise finding a place to go on holiday would be so difficult.

Thanks to any replies.

one of my friends mentioned earlier she saw some good deals for short breaks in Rome on lastminute.com not exactly sure of the dates but it might be worth a look.

Budget ?

Your location ?

rome is good - nice compact city with a decent, if a little cramped, transport system

obviously plenty to see

take a copy of angels and demons with you and match the sights to the chapters.

Was looking at maybe no more than £300 per person inc. hotel and flights. Have seen some on Easy Jet but don't know the reliability of them when it comes to booking a holiday.

Would like somewhere with a beach really, Newquay would of suited fine but all the Lodges and hotels are booked or not in my price range.

Come to sunny Bournemouth - top nightlife, tons of hotels, great beach & loads to do!!
