need advice about feeling faint at the gym (this isn't a BG1 thread lol)

I've been going to the gym for nearly a year now and because I've got something big coming up very soon (that I'm very much looking forward to), I've been trying to workout harder than ever before....so I've been going to the gym almost every day for the last few weeks but last week, I started feeling faint, so I gave myself a few days rest.

The thing is, I used a Personal Trainer yesterday and after a light workout, I started feeling very strange. :-(
The workout itself was easy and my body felt like it could of done a further hour nonstop but I couldn't feel my face and I felt like I was about to throw up.

My PT couldn't believe it because she's seen me do 2.5 hours of hard workout before and after 20-30 mins of an easy workout, I was almost out of it. :(

I haven't been eating or drinking properly of late either and I've been struggling to sleep for more than a few hours a night for ages.

What's wrong with me? :(

You have anserwed your own question.

How many hours a sleep do you get a day?

how much water do you drink a day?

How old are you (or round abouts :p)?

Quick breakdown of what you eat in a normal day?

Dunno......if that was the case, a lot more Spurs fans would be dead by now considering they can't even earn a point of late. :-D

The 4-0 champions league victory made us look good too. :whistling:

At the moment, I'm sleeping about 3 hours a day and constantly waking up.

I used to drink about 3 litres a day but recently, I've been drinking about half a litre.

I'm 25 years old.

Recently I've been eating things like toast, cereal and more cereal and creatine (I know I need more water along with that) :P

I know I'm doing everything wrong, cos I'm not eating the right food groups which is why I ate high carbs today

There must be a universe somewhere, where football is the answer to everything.;-)

you need more sleep, more fluid and more proper food.

you cant expect your body to work hard when your nto looking after it. you need to see why you arent sleeping. dont push yourself too hard, build up the training slowly

Yeh, this one!

And everyone thought the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything was 42. They got it wrong, it was 4 - 2 !:p

I know why I can't sleep and it's because I'm too excited about something and have butterflies going mad in my stomach but I don't know how to sort it.

I read that eating a lot of carbs can make your blood pressure change, not sure how true that is but it would certainly make you feel faint.
Eat more protein and drink a lot more water! I'd be having half a litre during a work out!
A trip to your GP probably wouldn't go amiss either.

you food dont seem to bad, ill asumme the cereal aint frosters or some one loaded up with sugar. ( it could be ALOT better, but not bad), your age is good, your sleep is the problem, the main rules of lifting are "eat big, lift big and rest". You really need to get at least 6 hours of sleep. And you keep saying you waking up.

Try taking ZMA supplment, this helps with sleeping:thumbsup:

So nothing to do with losing yet other first team player? At the rate they are going, they wont be able to field 11 players! :w00t:

What made it worse is my heart was racing at the gym today......after 2 mins on the cross trainer.....it was at 199 which I've never seen before when I've done 10 times more and at a faster pace.

Every time I lifted the weights, I felt like my heart was gonna jump out of my chest or I was gonna throw up and see my heart in a pile of puke. :-(

True......Spurs are in a bad position and all the first team players are leaving faster than you can say "heading for relegation" :giggle:

Despite the friendly banter I have with Guv (I wouldn't call it local rivalry because Spurs aren't rivals) he really is a great guy and has helped me quite a bit.

I agree, he does deserve some rep.

thinking of making a Thanks thread to point out all the people that stood in my corner, that in turn would show the mod team they were in fact wrong, but i recieved an email not to create a "im back" thread or similar in order not to create forum dramatics! lol as that would get me another ban...

Thanks thread is different though right??:whistling::thumbsup:

It ain't worth the hassle.

Cant understand why you got an email to not post "I'm back"? Kinda sounds like they know they got it wrong.

Theres part of the problem man, the body needs rest, going every day will do you more harm than good.
