I am thinking of selling my copy of Red dead redemption for the PS3 to get Alan Wake for the 360 but i am not really 100% sure if i should.

So my questions to you guys are is Alan Wake any good?
Is Alan wake better then Red dead redemption?
Should I keep Red dead redemption, and if yes explain why?
Could you recommend me an alternative option that i havent thought of?

Thanx! will rep for feedback

They are both totally different games, and both very good. Keep red dead redemption until you have completed it fully, and no longer wish to play it. Then trade/sell for Alan Wake, which will be cheaper by that time anyway.

Alan wake will depreciate quicker than Red dead redemption. Might as well complete Red dead first and then trade it for alan wake. Or just flash your xbox and get them both free

... Not to mention the legality issues surrounding getting hold of the "free" copies - nothing's free, somebody, somewhere pays.

I have three xbox's in case this issue arises. They're so cheap now 2 games will cost you the price of an xbox. Basically all the games I own, I have a retail copy of anyway, making it perfectly legal, just against the xbox live T&C's

Not too mention the electricity to burn them, as well as storage costs of the disks etc... :whistling:

Yeah I've thought about doing that for all the games I play offline, buying a jtagged 360 and running them from a HDD.

Pricey though. Would love one myself but can't justify the outlay.
