Im afraid that there is a way in which she can get her money back or that i have not even received it yet. Her address and email are real.
Thanks

well you tell me you would think it isnt, because for the life of me im struggling to see why you would think it isnt:?

Not all zero feedbackers are dodgy, ive just opened a second ebay account just for buying as ive had a bit of bad luck with items not received just lately and am worried about receiving neg feedback in retaliation, I can also have private feedback so as nosey gets cant see some of the saucy stuff I may possibly buy!.

Given the number of scams that you hear about taking place on eBay, it's only natural for someone who might not have much eBay experience to feel a bit warey when they get a 0 feedback buyer, so surely it's was better for them to check on what they should look out for, than it is to go plowing on ahead with the sale? :)

scams happen by all members, not just newbies, and if anything its usually by members with an above zero rating, although to the op - if you feel unsure about dealing with newbies you can block then from bidding on your future acuctions:thumbsup:

Edit - I have been informed you cannot block members with zero feedback, sorry about that

That's very true, but people are naturally going to be more wary of 0 feedback bidders.

No you can't. :)

have they changed this now then, i thought you were able to block buyer with a certain feedback, or was it a minus feedback:?

It's under preferences > buyer requirements

here are my settings.

Are registered in countries to which I don't post
Have a feedback score of -1 or lower
Are currently winning or have bought 1 of my items in the last 10 days and have a feedback score of 5 or lower
Have received 2 Unpaid Item strikes in the last 30 days

You've never been able to block 0 feedback buyers. If you could, a lot of sellers would use it and newbies would be limited as to what they could buy. ;-)

You can block people with negative feedback, or you can now block people with positive feedback (5 or under) who do not have a credit card on file.

ETA: And what stora said, about buyers with positive feedback that have already bid on one or more of your items and not paid.

You can also block:
People who are registered in countries to which you don't post
Have received two Unpaid Item strikes in the last 30 days
Do not have a PayPal account

I've sold tons on items on ebay and never once had a problem , i usually sell new items that i either brought and forgot about or i just don't want anymore lol...

I'm a compulsive shopper to my annoyance , if i see something i like i buy it or something at a good price i have to have it.

My house is more like a shop at the moment

Hopefully ill get rid of it all on ebay lol.

Only thing i dont like about ebay is there high charges on everything e.g if you want add subtitle , second picture etc etc ...it all adds up...my last 3 items my latest bill is already at £20 and thats just for 3 items :(

If you want to add more pictures, then host them on a free site such as Photobucket or Imageshack. Or use a free auction management service, such as Auctiva. Then you can have as many pics as you want for no extra cost.

Other auction sites are good in technical terms, but they just do not have the customer base or brand awareness and unfortunately that's what drives the market.

I think last year they were estimating profits of just under $8 billion

Not a good idea with the new rule changes being introduced. They are cracking down on people who over charge for postage. For example if you go below a certain Seller Rating for P&P Charges, your listings will appear lower down the search results. They were also trialling (and likely introducing) putting a warning message on the auctions of people who also go below a certain level (in the trial it was just 4 stars).
