Alcohol takes up to 24 hours to leave the system, so 1am tomorrow morning you should be OK

I say this all the time, if you are gonna drive the next day, the simple answer is DONT DRINK!

Just keep in mind if you do drive, and you are still over the limit, if you have an accident (even if it is not your fault) ou will be looking at a ban. Get a taxi, safer all round

Very responsible of you to ask , I must admit It's not often I think about it (although it's not often I drink anymore) - good on ya x

depends on the strength of the cider.

I stopped drinking at 2am this morning after a damned fine night out, but definately wont be driving AT ALL today! Not worth taking the risk IMO :)

Depends on your build.....if you were only 5 ft it would take a lot longer for your body to be alcohol free then a 6ft person.

On my reckoning you should be ok to drive LEGALLY if you've been drinking lots of water to rehydrate yourself at around 2pm. If you haven't been drinking water refrain from driving until tomorrow.

depends on your metabolism.. morning after calculators..pah! .. the thought of a minimum of a 12 month ban, big fine, insurance costing you a bundle after your ban, loss of job, and thats only if you get stopped, what about if your involved in an accident and you hurt or kill someone.. should I go on ?

For a male of medium build/size alcohol should be absorbed by the body at the rate of 1 unit per hour.

A pint of cider is 2.6 units x 5 pints which is 13 units. After 13 hours you will have zero acohol remaining in the blood, but you would be under the legal limit after 11 hours.

Just a thumbnail approximation.

Based on:

drinking 5 cans, stopped drinking 10 hours ago. 5% alcahol. You weigh 11 stone

Blood Alcohol Level Percentage :0.043548387096774194 %

So you should be fine

edit: just noticed you posted this 6 hours ago.
