first post so go easy.... i have two advantage cards one has 1492 points and other only 292 , basically i lost one started new then found old... i was wondering could i pay with my 2.92 but still …

i have two advantage cards one has 1492 points and other only 292 ,
basically i lost one started new then found old...
i was wondering could i pay with my 2.92 but still have new points out onto other card or do u not get points when paying with points? its been a long time since ive used the cards so not too sure on this any help will be much appreciated

next time you go in the shop ask them to transfer them over, i think they can do that.

yeah you are best off just using up the points on that card, strange though when i lost mine i got a new one and the points were automatically transferred

And also yep chesso you're right you don't get points when spending points, i forgot that!

what if i put it towards perfume or something tho then i would be gettin more points back wouldnt i. im hopin to save my points throughout the year and then using them towards presents at xmas (planning ahead lol) transferring sounds good but i thought i read somewhere you couldnt maybe im wrong?

yeah i did but before i realised i could do that i got a completely new card started it then realised i could order another one and have points on it like you say now im stuck with em lol

Yea, I mean if she spends £2.92 (292 points) then it doesnt really matter if she cant get the points for that spend on her other card, since it would only be 8 points anyway.

Every point helps, but if your spending 292 points I wouldnt be too upset if you didnt get the 8 points for that purchase :)

Oh right, I see - yes, you're right :thumbsup: 8 points is neither here nor there.

Again to OP, you don't get points for purchases made with points.

Don't forget the you need to pay in full with points for any particular item - you cannot do a mix of points and cash.

right i see i wasnt sure if you did so could i get a sabdwhich for example and pay with them lol just to use them up
