need little advise on Royal mail compensation

  They usually ask you a value when you send recorded and write it down

  Unless the seller has said that they haven't got it back yet. You may find that Royal Mail haven't got a signature uploaded or one at all for the delivery. I am forever claiming back my fees for the recorded delivery service for items that haven't had a signature. You'd be surprised at how much I get back each month, not pence, but a fair few pounds. Call their customer services department and see what they have to say

  we did the same thing, get a claim form from royal mail and they require you to print off the page off ebay with the oitem on it - to show the value and postage ect. God knows how they manage to lose items!! We got a cheque back - with a mis print on the name, so we then had to send that back....still waiting! lol

  thanks everyone! i rang up royal mail and they said to wait till tomorrow and if still hasn't been delivered then we'll send a claim form. lets see what happens! I really appreciate all the help! thank you! :D
