negetive ebay feedback

hi
i really need some help here. last year nov i sold a voucher code and sent the code to her email add after she bought one (not tesco). the code expired end of dec last year. after almost 2 months she left me a negetive feedback 2 days ago saying she did not recieve the item!!!?
i was wodering where did tht come from... 1st she did not email me saying she havent recieve anything within a week or two. 2nd its almost 2 months when she decided to leave the feedback especially when it expired last month dec?

i have emailed her twice regarding this and she didnt reply. i hv also emailed ebay.

can anyone tell me what can i do? ive been really careful selling stuff and all that...now i endup with negetive feedback.

its really upsetting.

please advice.

unfortunately there is nothing you an do about it.that is the problem with ebay! i sold a brand new with tags baby girls outfit and had feedback saying dirty,smelly ,worn ,fit for bin...i couldnt believe it..i was gutted.. i had 100% before that..i think he just wanted to tarnish my perfect feedback score. i just used my partners ebay name bought something off him and left negative feedback..naughty i know but i wanted revenge!!!

i had too!! i was so angry someone went out of there way to do that for no reason and a seller too at that!! i got a few emails after saying why didnt you contact me if there was a problem? can we resolve it? etc and i just thought have that!!

ebay is full of people like that.. and that is now the down side of selling as you can't leave neg feedback. All you can do is leave a reply on your feedback stating what happened...
Dont worry you feed back will go back to 100% after 12 months...

The wonderful world of Ebay, forget it, don't worry about it!!! Some people are weird, unfortunate they left you neg., but it happens!:)

As in life some peeps are nice, some are total snakes in the grass Do you believe in karma? Their time will come, hehehe


yeah i do believe in tht... i hope it comes soon for her... and im really really exasperated!!!

u got me thinking now... the problem is she has only 2 feedback and registered last august...newbie?

ebay is full of people like that.. and that is now the down side of selling as you can't leave neg feedback. All you can do is leave a reply on your feedback stating what happened...
Dont worry you feed back will go back to 100% after 12 months...

You could ask her to remove the feedback and you refund her.


i thought abt that... thats why when i emailed her... i did it 3 times. anyway i emailed her regarding refund and revising feedback but no reply yet...

neg feedback should be retained as there are plenty of cruddy sellers - shame a few innocents get punished like you - but I'd rather be protected when I buy things than try pto rotect the minority of sellers - A seller loses their reputation but a buyer loses their hard earned cash.

Another idea - check with Tesco to get it reissued - then email her and see if she responds OR bluff her and tell her you have a ressue

i got a neg feedback once...
story:
a guy bought a wii game, but it could only work on a USA wii.
so he was abit p!ssed (he didnt read the orginal sellers listing properly) , so he decided to sell it on through ebay again, so i purchased it as my wii can play USA games.
I got the game left positive feedback, he left none for a month.
then left me neg feedback saying i sold him a duff game!!!
the plonker left me the feedback for the guy he bought the game from!

so ebay said they could do nothing about the feedback, except withdraw it as long as both parties agreed to do it... but ppl can still see it in your feedback regardless, even with it withdrawn, sorry!

really? didnt know that... but really when its not my fault...sigh...


if you let ebay know-they won't do anything about it-but it happened to me-they did nothing but then someone else complained and so they were banned and that meant their feedback was removed-so it is worth emailing Ebay.

If she paid by paypal try emailing directly from the email addy shown there rather than through ebay .

thank you very much for everyones advice and help...it really made me feel better... and whats even better is that she finally replied my mail and saying that she being a newbie she misunderstood of the item she was bidding for and revised my feedback..
