No doubt the username and passwords are the same as default, have some fun randomly block them from using the internet, or depending on router set a web address block re-diverting them to an image like below, that should get their attention.

Have you seen The Burbs?

Best not to go sticking your beak in your neighbours business.

Honestly for me it would depend on if i got on with the neighbours or not. Most people have there own internet connection nowdays. You wont be the only one that can see its unsecure. If i got on with them and had a idea who it was i would mention it in passing. If i didnt get on then tough shouldnt be so stupid 8)

Let them know.

Free wifi will attract nonces to the area.

Printing random notes off on their printer is entertaining.

That would be great.

Log into their router and change their ESSID to Hitlers Jockstrap.

Run cain and abel and see what freaky websites they go on or faceniff/blacksheep to intercept facebook profiles and post 'coming out' updates.

Or if they have a network printer, print off a large drawing of some man junk with secure your wifi written under it.

It could be me, use away. I have homeplugs and have yet to secure the top floor, it is currently a wifi free spot. Limit the porns though.

PS: Is the wifi name "IrishBigPenis"? if so it is me, and I give it away for free. Naa honestly that would be called Devolo, not IrishBigPenis

Even if your wifi has a password, it still can be cracked by the right user ;)

Whats wrong with having unsecured wifi? That way, if you download dodgy stuff, it cannot absolutely be blamed on you. It is also nice to share.

It's your responsibility. You'd still be liable

Thing is, there's dodgy stuff, and there's dodgy stuff. The authorities don't really care that much about you downloading torrents, and in the very unlikely event that you are taken to court for your piracy, odds are the "oh noes, i didn't secure my wifi" excuse really won't wash. On the other hand, if someone uses your connection to download srsly dodgy stuff, you're going to have some very interesting conversations with the police, probably concluding with all of your IT equipment being seized.

Besides that, you're practically begging to be hacked if you leave your wifi unlocked. Do you really want to risk having your ID stolen for the sake of a paper-thin excuse?

Let us all know where u live everyone can come sit outside your house to download loads if stuff. We can then go home with our shiney new downloads safe in the knowlage we have all probably gone over your download allowance (its usually has a upper limit) and you can pay the bill

sorted!
