Out of those, I'd go for the N130, though I was looking recently and narrowed it down to these:

Samsung NC10
Asus Eee PC 1000HE

nvidia ION based (nice comparison here):
ASUS Eee PC 1201N
HP Compaq Mini 311c

I went for the HP Compaq Mini 311c, good deals on here at the moment.

That depends entirely on what you're going to use your netbook for.

If the stats you've listed are the stuff that's important to you then I'm not sure why you're asking as the Toshiba is obviously better.

for nearly £20 more you get a slightly better cpu, but more importantly 3 hours more on the battery.

personally would say the toshiba, although never had either:)

Why buy a netbook with Windows XP on it when there are now netbooks with Windows 7 on them?

Thats for all your help.. I struggled to find a decent netbook with windows 7 on from Amazon but I've spent a while and found these 2..
Samsung N140 10.1-inch Netbook (Atom N270 1.6 GHz Processor, 1 GB RAM, 250 GB HDD, BT, Webcam, up to 10 Hour Battery Life, Windows 7 Starter, Black) £292.70
or
Asus 1005HA 10-inch Netbook (Atom N270 1.6 GHz Processor, 1 GB RAM, 250 GB HDD, up to 8.5 Hours Battery Life, Windows 7 Starter, White) £259.97
My main reason for getting one is to take abroad to the US on holiday and the villa has free wifi access so I hope that one of these is good for this and will be able to watch a few tv shows and films etc..
Thanks

I'm using the Toshiba and really impressed - not only the speed and functionality but also things like the keyboard is much better than I expected, really nice to type on.

Because Windows 7 Starter edition is pants and that is what most, if not all, netbooks are lumbered with. XP is also a little kinder on the battery.
