Netbooks

So - decided against the Chromebook (uploaded a document on Google Docs and was aghast at the rubbish formatting used), and am now looking for a good netbook (or alternative).

Requirements:
- good battery (7+ hours)
- can connect to projectors (VGA)
- can run an office suite
- lightweight
- good screen size (have seen 10" but not sure if too small?)
- around £180 (the cheaper, the better!)

Not looking for something to replace my machine - but something which I can take abroad with me to work on presentations.

Suggest away!

Mmm, I would suggest checking out the X61s and X200s ThinkPads (2nd hand via eBay UK) but you might need a couple of batteries to stretch it out over the seven hours that you have listed but other than that they should meet all of the requirements you have listed.

I ended up buying an Acer 722 for just over £200 during an Amazon Warehouse Deal. 11.6", up to 7 hours battery life, and all the other requirements I wanted.
