hense why I was a young mum!
#18
i wasnt aloud to be alone with boyf, ever. and wasnt aloud upstairs with boyf even if they were there in the house. hense why i chose to leave home at 18. i totally respect my mums desitions though.

though i was aloud to stay at my boyfs at 15 he was 16, and his mum assured my mum we were in sepearte rooms. we werent really but his mum knew that we were waiting till i was 16 and so knew it wasnt like we would have sex (just everything else LOL).

plus i did tell my mum when i planned to loose my virginity, out of respect for her. and i had been with him 10months and was sixteen.

i think mum would have been even worse if the boy had been 18. thats a big age gap when they that young.

but you seem to have a nice comprimise going on there. well done you. sound like a good mum to me. x

Wow my parents must be very relaxed then. When i was 15 my boyfriend was allowed to stay round all the time and yes in my bedroom. When i was 16 he basically lived at my house and he was 20 or 21. But i was very grown up for my age and i have 3 older siblings and 1 younger but our parents are very relaxed. Because my parents showed they trusted all of us there were never any problems no young pregnancies etc. I liked it that my parents trusted me. It proved a lot to us and we didnt mis behave because we could be open to them. I was going out to nightclubs quite young and my mum or dad use to always pick me up (whatever the time) even if i went out in london they would drive there to pick me up. I am now 21 and have my own flat with my boyfriend of nearly 3 years and feel i wouldnt be as happy as i am today if i didnt have such a cool relationship with my parents. My mum truly is my best friend. I think that shows a lot.

yup, that was my mums motto, if they are gonna do it they will find a way lol

i think your going to right way pcnutta, treat her maturely and im sure she will behave as such :)

my parents let my boyfriend stay the weekends when i was 15 as he was from London, us in Surrey, had a spare room tho, when at his parents he would sleep downstairs, and they had a viscious dog so i wouldnt wander :w00t:

yup they'll do whatever, whenever! My mum was way too strict, I rebelled like hel and it resulted in us not speaking for a while, quite a while in fact. Having 2 daughters of my own now, I can understand where she was coming from, but no way am I gonna be like that! All I can do is offer my support and guidance, and hope they are sensible, and if they're not, I'll still be there for them. I may have gave birth to them but I don't own them, if you know what I mean. Hope I can be like you PCNutta, you sound on the right track:thumbsup:

But you do own them, well that's what my Mum kept telling her friends and that's why we had to make her tea, do the washing up, take the dogs for walks, tidy the house etc etc etc ;-)

Yikes Mr B and I were engadged and still weren't allowed to sleep in the same room!! and I was 22!
