Here's the text from the email should you not wish to click the short link.

Ooooooohh, the sweet taste of success. People power has done it again!
With your help, we've negotiated a very special deal from an extra special company.

The limited offer opens tomorrow... [Tuesday 24th January] but we wanted to give you a little tip-off first.
Here are the key details:

It's from Places for People - a long-standing and trusted partner of Big Deal.

You could save over £160. [1]
You'd enjoy stellar customer service because we know you like the finer things...

Places for People topped the customer satisfaction table for Citizens Advice. [2]

They came 2nd in Which?'s 2017 energy company rankings. [3]

In other words, you'd be in safe hands!

Interested? Of course you are - so are we! This is a deal that we LOVE.

We'll send you an email with all the wonderful details when the deal opens tomorrow.

We expect a lot of switchers for this, so click here if you want to be the first to know.
I MIGHT FANCY THIS DEAL - MAKE SURE YOU GIVE ME FIRST REFUSAL
There will be a few of us at the Big Deal office taking this one, so don't miss out.

Thanks for being part of this.

Till tomorrow!

Will

PS: Do you know anyone else who likes a bargain? They will LOVE this deal. And if they are your friend, they are our friend too,

Just forward on this email and your friends can scoop a bargain too.
[1] This is based on you switching away from a Big Six standard deal, on Ofgem medium usage.

Will give this a go - looking for something as my e.on V19 is due to end soon. Can't seem to get near that price.

Thanks, I've just switched to a fix tariff (£30 exit fee). No savings, but it is the cheapest tariff I could find from all the suppliers available (price I pay for being an energy tart, keeping on top of this by switch every year).
I think the changes of finding a better deal are very unlikely, but I'm looking forward to it anyway.

Who came first? And the amount of emails I've recieved regarding this offer is nuts. I'm on fixed but I would like to see how much it would be :D

This other collective announces 14th February and so, depending when your E.ON deal runs out (mine ends March), it may be worth waiting...
https://communityenergyswitch.org.uk/
PS. E.ON will keep your old tariff upto 20 working days AFTER your end fix date - provided your new company tells them before the end of the 20 working days.

I don't think these collective tarriffs are going be much better than what's already out there mine finish in Sept and none of the deals from mse milkman or some. other have offered a decent tarriff I think they are thinking people will.jist move to one as they don't show the full.marlet prices on there very easily so just do a comparison on some other sites aswell incase if it's cheaper very good.

Deal is here. I haven't looked at the details but nothing brilliant - it is area dependent and may be good you you.

Think I'll keep looking - seen four or five standard fixes for less.

Christ that's expensive?!
Why would you?!

Iresa electric - £0.098 /kWh, £0.12/day standing charge - No exit fee. c/s not brilliant but it was only the initial read at issue, means they lost out on £4 that went to E.on
Zog Gas - £0.1029/kWh £0.126/day, £30 exit fee, good c/s

Both 12 month fixes.

Happy with my savings currently.

Of course you could always just switch yourself and save the £25 per fuel commission that the "completely neutral" Big Deal take for brokering the deal...

Shysters...

I got a quote from them 11 days ago via comparison website and guess what? It's exactly the same tariff cost/discount. The result showed 4 different plans from different suppliers, cheaper than the one offered by PFP

So no "very special deal from an extra special company"

As Flodd said switch yourself, BigDeal doesn't deserve the commission.

I'd never heard of this company but from all the dual fuel tariffs I've been looking at they're one of the cheapest. Sad that nothing really compares to the v19 eon tariff!

Electricity:
Unit rate: 12.56p per kWh
Standing charge: 27.479445p per day
TCR: 15.15p per kWh
Gas:
Unit rate: 2.76p per kWh
Standing charge: 26.279400p per day
TCR: 3.37p per kWh
