im using a hdmi cableive seen on some sites a Component connection mentioned?

can i get this with the ps3? would this work?

What TV do you have?

How have you got your PS3 configured (resolution etc)?

Also, HDMI is better than component, so it's not that!

So you're talking about a 1080i telly? Try setting the resolution to 720p instead and see if it gives you a better picture. What size TV?

Through the PS3 - the TV will accept either 1080i or 720p (as well as SD resolutions) but the choice is made by the device connecting to it.

Don't expect a crystal clear image tho - you do pay for what you get.
