New Iphone? Here's a guide to put ANY song from Itunes as a ringtone!
You will first need to show file extensions on your computer. From within Windows Explorer, you need to go to folder options from one of the menus at the top and then the view tab. Then deselect the tick in 'hide extensions for known file types'.
Next in Itunes choose your song...right click and select 'convert selection to AAC'.... once done select song and right click 'get info'.... under options select the start time and stop time up to a MAXIMUM of 20 seconds and select tick boxes (listen to song first and choose best 20 seconds of song)... click ok and then once again convert to AAC (you should have three in file now with one being 20 seconds)...select the 20 second song...right click and choose 'show in windows explorer'... you should now have something like this:
1-18 Let Me Think About It 2.m4a
Change the end of the file to r so now becomes:
1-18 Let Me Think About It 2.m4r
Double click on song and it opens up in iTunes ringtones.... sync with iphone and hey presto it is in your settings/sounds/ringtone.... select and play
Afterwards just delete the AAC songs you created...
Hope this helps.....
