That's not a cauliflower bun, that's just a chuck of **** cauliflower! wtf is the point of spiralising chicken breast? I feel like they've missed the point of everything.

A bun? or half a cauli :D?

I don't get the pressure of fast food to be good for you. The pressure should be on people to only eat it as part of a balanced diet. McDonald's and the like aren't the only food providers out there it's not their fault if the fatties don't eat anything else.

We have family who need gluten free, dairy free meals; guess only peeps in our position will realise the value of this 'bun'..

Some of the meals are 'interesting', some are never to be tried again.

Don't know what this bun will be like, but we're wary of fast food produce - I mean - 18 ingredients in fries, oO wth?
.
We use cauliflower a lot.
My wife uses cauliflower instead of rice, she just throws it in the blender, gets it rice-sized then either steams it or fries it - once the curry sauce is over it it tastes fine enough.

My mum is celiacs, they could just make a polenta bun, like hot water cornbread, if they don't want to use gluten free bread or mochi or something. My mum lives off polenta, potatoes and rice, indeed if they wanted to they could have a potato bun.

Would anyone complain here if they were presented with spicy maize coated chicken in a hash brown sort of thing bun?

From what ive seen so far it looks to be an elaborate joke by KFC poking fun at these fad diets. The so called blogger person who KFC say they are working only made an account within the last week and their twitter posts are more in a style of parody of these fad dieters. Also KFC have been responding to several insults of the "burger" on Facebook in a sarcastic way, which suggests its nothing to be taken serious.

They may actually release a new burger burger perhaps, just not this.

We have a few peeps in our family and friends with different diets for different reasons - it can be a nightmare trying to make a meal for all of them.
Some are gluten free and some are dairy free.
It's annoying to find wheat in so many foods - even chocolate, I mean why put wheat in a chocolate bar?

On the other hand it does lead to peeps coming up with inventive and often healthy nourishing meals/foodstuffs - and also home cooking where you know exactly what the ingredients are.

Cross contamination in a lot of cases it just isnt worth the hassle cleaning the equipment out totally when you change product lines and other countries are not storing food in laboratory conditions to keep it all seperate.

Its not that the chocolate definitely does now when it didn't 10 years ago (green and blacks) its that they just were not so aware in the past and even now there are plenty of recalls of freefrom products because it suddenly came to light that milk powder from Poland they were using thinking it was ok wasnt or now isn't because they are making other things at that plant now.
