Hmm. As I've decided to not go Reading Festival now, and am getting paid on Friday, and think I need a new PC, I need some advice from anyone with a bit better knowledge of me, and where I can look for a good deal for somebody who plays games a lot.
Right, heres my current specs;
2x 17" Dell TFT Monitors.
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20GHz Model 3, Stepping 4
512MB DDR PC3200 (Can support up to 4gig ddr)
Sapphire Radeon X800 GTO2 256mb
Soundblaster Audigy ZS 2
1xInternal 200gb SATA HDD
1xExternal 160mb SATA HDD
I don't know if its worth upgrading or moving onto a new pc, whether it means building my own (if theres much difference in price or buying a full unit). Though I'd probably still keep this one, sell the graphics card and use it for a storage PC. However, I do know this PC isn't the best to say I play games. It's actually terrible. But now I'm starting college, I will have a lot of spare time.
Reeeet. If you can help, just sites which sell PC's along the lines I'm about to give, or just are fairly good and you can personally recommend, for a fairly good price. I've had a little look at Dell and Overclockers but still not sure.
Dual or Quad-core processor.
At least 2GB of RAM.
Single, pref Dual graphics card, depending whether a monitor is included because then I'd hook 3 up to my PC. No preference on manufacturer, as long as ATi or nVidia.
Water Cooled (Possibly)
200GB - 500GB HDD. (Or more)
Non-integrated sound card.
If you can help it'd be much appreciated because over the past few weeks I've had no time to keep up to date with the latest thing and whats currently doing well and why..
