Ok so i got a quidco account last night thanks to someone special recommending it :)

Ive got my account upto £15.19 already
Just got a couple of questions, when i bought my lovely cd player last night from ebuyer i obv went through quidco, its showing as declined, but have you always recieved yours?

Also just wondering about payouts? How often do they pay out, can you stipulate it at all?
Also, the £5 admin fee, does that come out of the first payment?

Thanks, even though i thought it was quite hard its really easy
I just wish id joined it sooner

Nope, it is says Declined it won't come. You can put in an Enquiry for it if you think you should be getting it, and see what the outcome is.
EDIT (I saw what this says on QuidCo for eBuyer):
quidco

Please read the following before proceeding:

**This will immediately track in as declined because of a reporting anomaly. The status should change after 6 weeks or so to tracked if everything is okay with your purchase.

Please note: Although the vast majority of transactions are tracked successfully, the network currently responsible for this merchant has decided to only pay 50% for any successful enquiries on missing transactions. We have expressed our dissatisfaction to the network and are doing everything we can to improve this situation.

They are monthly, but you can stipulate how much earnings you'd like to have paid out as a minumum.
This can be paid into your Bank Account via BACS or into a PayPal account.

Oh, and, i would like to make the minimum payment thing (£50 so i wont have to pay bloody paypal fees even if there 25p!)
If i do that, will it come out as soon as i get up to £50, or will i have to wait till the next month?
I.e, if i make £50 on the 15th december, will it be released that day, or will i have to wait till 1st jan|

You'll have to wait until the next payment I believe.
When you say PayPal fees, you mean the withdrawl of money from your PayPal Account? You can just have it pay out into your PayPal account each month and then withdraw when you're ready.

Using BACS rather than PayPal will cost you 5p for each monthly payout from QuidCo

Just read your edit, thanks.
Ive already set it up to be released to paypal.

Just yet another question, you get money for signing up to things, and it says genuine ones only, obv most people (yes including me  ) arent genuine and just want the money via quidco :giggle: its not fraud is it - i do tend to worry about these things!

It depends on what it is.
There was a program where QuidCo tracked for searches of cars on a particular website. People would just log on and do the car searches just to get the payout for each search, rather than genuinely looking for a car.
I think it was that.
Anyway, that got shut down due to abuse.
There are plenty more like that and they're still going along so I don't think there are any significant problems with it.
Read the QuidCo Etiquette page, it's at the top when you log in:
http://www.quidco.com/etiquette/

EDIT: This is what I was thinking of:
"Europcar and programme abuse"
http://www.quidco.com/blog/?p=25

I think it's worth having a read of the Help Pages, they'll answer everything you might be able to think of and if not you can always send a message off to them via the Contact Us page.
It's all in an easily readable format and understandable to all.

I like the QuidCo Story:

PS The QuidBlog can be a very useful source of information every now and then.

Yeah youve answered all my questions, rep heading your way :)
Just looked at all the links youve posted.
Also, i know what you mean about the car search, i looked in the most popular list, kelkoo, car search and dealtime are in there, so people must do a "search" on them everyday.

Thanks for all your help :)
Heres to the future of quidco'ing :)

Europcar was the car search abuse one.
#11
You were probably the one abusing it :giggle:

Just got a quick question for all you quidco users.

Has any of you got kelkoo to track? Ive seen its quite high on the most popular list, but in the last 2 days ive searched on it etc, and i havent got it to show up once, even if just declined.
#12
Hmm, yer, delete yer cookies. I got them tracking and I haven't been doing them, so your doing them for me basically. Must have carried over some settings or something.
#13
Oh the joy, just erased my cookies and history now, gona have another shot at it
Strange its just kelkoo and nothing else of mine is tracking in yours, or maybe it has!
Theres a few things that havent showed up, have you got anymore you havent done?
#14
Dunno, it wont let me in now, dont like the password. Wahhhhh
#15
I havent been in your account!
Its nothing to do with me, i promise
