Have decided to treat myself to new TV set up after the queries here...http://www.hotukdeals.com/misc/digital-help/816795?view=lastreadpost
I am after a 40inch TV similar to the Samsung herehttp://www.johnlewis.com/230929759/Product.aspx?SearchTerm=samsung+LE40C580J1
Don't ever use TV for games etc. Not bothered about 3D. This TV has all I want but before I jump in, shop told me can acess internet on this via laptop if I buy a Samsung bit for £50. But it says the TV is not web enabled..........I am confused. Would love to access internet on the TV. Do I definitely need web enabled then? This TV is not web enabled, (see why I am confused, Google not specific and takes me into a techy world of jargon!!)
Next query is that I will still need an additional box in order to record progs (HD recorder). Would it be better just to go for HD "ready" TV, then get HD freeview box and recorder. Would that work out any cheaper do you reckon??
Appreciate any help guys
