Building the new team around Ameobi then? :-DThese players owe
the fans big time and should try and get Newcastle back in the
premiership rather than looking to jump ship.I think Newcastle will
come straight back anyway as Champions, always been an
entertaining team to watch so I hope they do anyway.

Martins will go abroad at a guess, probably Germany or France.

Nolan back to Bolton?

No idea, but Newcastle are gonna find Championship life harder than Boro' I feel. Boro' have a young, cheap squad minus a couple of players, most of them will stay and should come straight back up, the only problem I see is with unadventurous Southgate who needs to take more risks on the field.

Trouble is Dell due to Newcastle's Negligence, arrogence, stupidity, or delusions they never forersaw relegation as a possibility, so hence no clause in the players contract concerning wage cuts, so obviously Newcastle couldnt survive paying premiership wages in the Championship.

As a Liverpool fan, none of these players are worth having, none of them are near top class. The problem with the squad is that there is a total lack of desire running through it, they are happy to accept second best. There are rumours in the papers today that some liverpool players have advised Rafa to sign owen. I would totally be against that, he is over the hill and has an ego that is well out of check. The only way his signing could be approved was if he was on a pay as you play contract, was willing to accept a place on the bench week in week out and got himself in shape so that if we was needed he could actually play

Agree with that, Worst regret of Owen's career was leaving Liverpool for Madrid, wanted him back when he was leaving Madrid, Madrid overpriced him, Owen got twitchy with Rafa playing the waiting game, and then the deluded came him with a massive offer for a trophy player for the supporters, Owen chose wrongly again and basically commited football Hari Kari.

Houllier still pushed him out, he made some bad decisions for our club late in his reign. Rafa would be making a mistake to sign him back, unless it was a free transfer (I believe he is out of contract this summer?) and we pay him less than 20K a week. I would like to see him back at the club for nostalgia but he needs to change his attitude.

Houllier did make some questionable decisions towards the end, i dont think he fully filled the potential he was showing before he's heart problems, he was a top class coach imo.
As for Owen and nostalgia, we done that with God which was fantastic to see the great man back at Anfield, but i dont think Owen's held in the same high regard as Robbie, due to his greed and his me me me self promotion.

I'm a Newcastle fan, please take them all.
As a show of good faith you can have Owen on BOGOF with anyone else.

The mackem should shut up.
They are after a manager who only won 9 points more than his managerless lot. lol
Now that's what I call "Aiming high" lol
