Newsbin Pro help

I'm currently using Newsbin Pro to download from newsgroups. It says at the bottom that my speed is 13mbs/1.6mbs. Does anybody know why it just downloads at 1.6 when I have the 13mb connection or is there any way to speed it up a bit?
Cheers

I don't use the program, so just guessing here, but are you sure it doesn't say 13Mbps/1.6MBps (note the capitals).

The reason I ask is 13 Megabits (Mb) per second is the same as 1.6 Megabytes (MB) per second.

I'm on 20 mb Virgin media at the moment but I've checked at all times of the day and the maximum it downloads is just over 2mbps. Speed tests say that I have just under a 17mbps line.
