  If I was you I'd rather get it seen earlier than later,
  Go to your local A + E they usually give you a number to ring in an emergency.
  Hope you get better I know how it feels, I've been in same situation. :)

  They should do dental work but you will only be given emergency treatment on the tooth so they might just do an X-ray and pack the tooth as depends if they would do a filling as they normally just do enough to ease the pain until you can get to your dentist and you will be charged tier 1 on the price plan which I think is about £17
  
  Maybe worth just nipping to a late night chemist for something to ease the pain and some stuff called orajel which either comes in liquid or gel form and just eases toothache pain

  Very rarely get them but once I had an abcess in the gum which spread into the tooth which was painful but didn't go the dentist for 5 days as took the maximum codeine to ease the pain but only took the edge off so had to get the filling removed and it was like someone turned the pain straight off lol

  Ive been through a number of operations on my spine and the pain from that doesnt even compare to toothache.

  No routine appts until after xmas but all dentist MUST have emergency appts available which are allocated on a daily basis (provided you are registered at that surgery). You just have to say you are in severe pain. If you are not registered, there will be a system for emergency treatment, call A/E dept who can advise.
  
  NHS Walk in Centres don't do anything with teeth, only suggest good painkillers which you can sort out for yourself.
