You have neighbours you mean moving in! Just say hi if you see them moving in
#2
You should be the ones to go and say hello to them, they are new in town.

What's the best thing to do?

Hide yr wheelie bin :w00t: :p

Go and knock on the door and say hi and welcome to the street.

If you feel daft about just saying that give them a local freebie newspaper and some take-away leaflets. My old neighbours did that and it really made me feel welcome.

Or like in America ( in the films anyway ) they always take round a pie or casserole, used to happen in Neighbours too!

I'm sure you pass by them sometime in your building so just say hello.

Yeah, I think it's definitely up to you to do that as they'll feel awkward enough being the new kids in the block. The takeaway leaflets is a nice touch, especially when most folk can't be @rsed cooking on the first night you move in. You never know, it could be the start of a good friendship and there might be a bird that's tidy........

I wouldn't unless you live in a Hi rise block.

good luck whatever you decide

Go and say hi, I moved into my house a couple of years ago and no-one bothered, needless to say I still haven't spoken to any of them, they all seem to keep themselves to themselves!!

YOu could buy a Plant - and a card, and say welcome to your new home.

Having your names written down will help them remember especially if there are a few of you. It wil break the ice and make them feel welcome!

Say Hi and ask if they would like you to put the kettle on, they might not have there utilities connected yet,
And if they have ask them to put the kettle on :)
#12
Knock on the door say hi, ask if there is anything you can do to help?
:)
