My girl has Animal Crossing, very addictive game. I'm always on it trying to help her to pay off her mortgage (could this be a sign of what the future holds??? LOL)

If you are referring to Pictochat, it only works with people who have a DS within a certian number of metres around you and are in the same pictochat room as you, so this feature is basically hardly ever used. I think there are games with which you can communicate with others online but to go online you obviously need an online game with the feature and an internet connection with a router or DS USB connector.

I would recommend Mario Kart DS, Brain Training, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, New Super Mario Brothers, 42 All Time Classics and you should check a few games sites like IGN for what good DS games are out there and what games you would like.

thanks Arsenal fan  appreciating the hints and tips!!!! :)

Also the DS is region free so you could import games from websites like movietyme.com and get them for cheaper than you would get them here:thumbsup:

Sort of like the sims but I think its better. You have to collect fruit/fossils or go fishing amongst other things and then sell your wares to Nook's shop in order to pay off your mortgage or buy things for your house. Once its paid you can extend. It's a bit like real life really.

you should get a r4ds then you can get loads of games on 1 card. Google it

As others have said... Mario Kart for sure :)

Also my missus is quite into Hotel Dusk at the moment, seems like a pretty decent game
