it really depends if the games are ones you really want or if you'll have to trade them in

Its for me mother, dont really have a clue when it comes to DS's i just dont want to get ripped off lol. People keep telling me about all this Rs4 card stuff too so i shouldnt worry about games, but that just goes over my head.

Yeah, that's piracy, which is illegal and stuff :P

That will jump up in price, I guarantee it, I'm sure it'll go past £200!

Well I would be hesitant to go that high, as I just bought a DS Lite with a game, brand new for £59.99! :whistling:

I'd say that, looking strictly at RRPs and all that, that £170-200 is a fair price if the guy's telling the truth about the condition of it!

I have read up on all these R4 shannangians and was unsure if we are unable to talk about it or not since of well you know...but anyway is it easy enough to do if you have the right card?

Thanks everyone for the input, ill check out those shops tomorrow and hope for the best. Is the difference in price of the DSi to the DS lite worth the money?

You can get one for like £79.99. I wouldn't say that the DSi was woth the extra £50, but that's my opinion, and one of many.

Edit: also, nice name ;) thanks for the rep!

I agree with Rokkaman, you are paying £50 for a camera, but having said that there are a few games coming out that wont work on the normal ds
my hubby's got a dsi and i think its far to light, to thin, looks like its gonna break any minute..lol
please dont take this the wrong way but if you mum is over 60 i'd get a ds as they are far more sturdy , easier to fix, and 1000's of games for them. ( most ds games will work in the dsi)

Blimmey i didnt realise that id of thought you could play all games on all versions. I thought the only thing changing each time was thickness, screen size, adding wifi etc etc

The auction ended at £146.88

No big deal really, the only specific games you can get for the DS lite are really minor downloadable ones. Not really a big loss, just get a DS lite and a bunch of games ;)
