You'll only be able to play PAL games. NTSC games will not work

But the Wii does play gamecube games as well, but you'll need a gamecube controller.

eBay is fine as long as you stick to decent sellers who are PAYPAL Verified, just double check the games are PAL first. Also keep an eye on the FS/FT board here as games are always cropping up.

Personally i'd reccomend Mario Strikers & Zelda as the best 2 games out so far. :)

It's a matter of preference. If you get it modded then you can play anything from anywhere of pirate copies but of course it invalidates your warranty. As the Wii is still new and there is no reports of the long term reliabity of it then i wouldn't in case it goes the way of the 360 in terms of lastabilty. (I'm on my 3rd 360 now. :x )

Having had quite a lengthy play on a Wii console today, I'd just like to say that they are brilliant!

I was in the "graphics are naff" group without even playing it, The Wii rocks IMO!

No Way!!

I missed out on the gamecube due to having an xbox and a ps2 over the last few years and its only through playing some cube games on my Wii that I realised that I really missed out.

For anyone who has a Wii and havent got a cube before, I highly recommend buying some of the classics. I play cube games more than I do with Wii games at the mo.

I much preferred playing Medal Of Honour Frontline on the GC than on the PS or Xbox.
