Hello everyone. I have just managed to set myself up on the wii with the wireless connection (after hours and hours! lol) but got there in the end.

I am now on the Wii but they are talking about Wii Points. How much are they, where can I get them from as dont own a credit card and if so, is there not a different way of getting points???

hope someone can help!

I was the same as you after getting a wii for the kids for xmas, didn't know what the wii points was all about at first lol - you get wii points for every piece of software you purchase, there are cards with a unique code on them (some have a silver scratch off panel) that you have to enter on the nintendo website, we got 500 wii points in every new nintendo ds lite as well, think it's 1000 for the wii console itself, 250 on certain games you buy, 500 for the wii fit etc. hope that helps! x

You can buy them from Argos

£14.69 at Argos for 2000 wii points, can collect in store maybe?

Wonder if dixons/currys/hmv/GAME do them for a decent price instore?

I haven't bought any so far - and I've had my Wii since the summertime :(

You get Star / VIP points in the Nintendo games / hardware. They are not the same thing as Wii points, unfortunately. The Star / VIP points can be converted into Wii points, at something like 400 star points = 100 Wii points...

You can, of course, buy Wii points from any Games retailer, like Gamestation, Game, HMW, etc. They're just under £15...

Buy stuff like Wii store points and all kinds of niknaks, sometimes games aswell. Only limited amounts of stock ever though.

the points are usually on a pice of paper, sometime covered in silver you scrath off, and nintendo game will have points on, the wii itself comes with points and also wii sports comes with a points code

They should have been inside the boxes, amongst the manuals / leaflets and that, and you sometimes get 1 in the games too, but i think it's only nintendo licensed ones (could be wrong! lol) coz ours were only in the mario games. Didn't realise though that these are actually star points and you have to convert them into wii points via the website and then that actually lowers the amount you get, we changed some over today, think it was 1200 star points = 500 wii points, so not as good as i 1st thought but still, will have to buy more from argos or something because the kids want street fighter and the old classic mario games!

Your're looking for a code (letters and numbers) that's 16 digits long, should be on a card with little red mario cap saying club nintendo on it?
