How was it stolen?

Or did you lose it?

Is it insured?
#5
Not insured, think someone i actually know has it but have no proof and i can't see them admitting to it. :(

Could have gone round their house and rang it with a spare phone?

Im guessing they are a little more intelligent than that and would have swiftly removed the sim/battery

I'm guessing it was switched off/they don't go to their house?

Agreed I think I'd probably be charged for a serious crime if my friend stole my phone.

Im sure the sim would have been removed/Snapped... Sorry to hear about your loss. Maybe contact the police if you have a strong suspicion someone has stolen it off you.

Are you drunk, why would you the victim be charged?

Because i'd probably assault them.
#17
I'm not sure what to do in that respect of involving the Police as they would prob just log it ...and the person will deny it so id be back to square one

Do you have home insurance?
Call the police anyway, get a crime number.

Phone O2 and ask them what the last number used in the phone was.

A year or so ago the missus' brother stole my phone, I thought it was him, when I phoned O2 and confirmed I was the owner of the phone they happily told me the phone number of the last sim card used in the phone before I had it barred. It was him.

If you know the number, you know who stole it, the police may not be bothered but at least you'll know.

No, but you might have personal posessions insurance, I know that we have Personal posessions up to £2000.
That will cover your mobile.

Thanks I am planning to do this in the morning as when i reported it they couldnt give me any further info and said that i'd have to ring back in the morning to find out the last number called and time of call ....I am pretty much in the same situation as yourself which makes it worse

Out of interest, how long have you known this supposed friend for? What makes you think this person is guilty?

Ask them to tell you the phone number of every sim card inserted into the phone in the last 24 hours except yours.

They HAD your phone, then claim you now have it back? without them actually giving it to you?

Didnt you make it clear they NEVER passed it back to you? And where (if they now havent got it) did they put it?!

YES I MADE IT CLEAR but it still didnt make my phone appear.......they have been in my home so if i challenge it they will just say i left it at yours.....i cant prove otherwise
banned#33
But you KNOW they didnt leave it at yours, its not there is it... so they MUST still have it. right?
#34
