On my laptop, When I start a vid on youtube or similar, I can't get any sound. My volume settings are all turned up ok but still nowt.

This happened to me a while back & it was a real simple solution but I'm that simple I can't remeber what it was I did to get the sound back.

Any ideas guys? Please no techy spechy jargon.

No- 1st thing I tried!. Sound works ok on everythhing else, media player etc just not on online video/tv stuff.

Just youtube? Re-install flash, goto contol panel and uninstall it. Go to the adobe website and reinstall it. You tried firefox if using IE

I'll give this a try thanks.

Last time it appened, it was just something simpler I did though - like one-click & kaboom - I had sound!!

No - it's any site as well as youtube. like iplayer & stuff.

Uninstalled & reinstalled adobe flash - still no sound.

Def not on mute.

Followed this & did the CCleaner process also - Still nothing but thanks anyway!!
